MOTOJOURNEY
In 2021, I left on a motorcycle trip with the goal of interviewing strangers and old acquaintances about where they had lived and where they saw themselves in the future. The result was a series of surprisingly intimate life stories, shared at a time when people had been tangibly alienated from one another for almost two years.

My wife Abby is a talented composer and instrumentalist. For her 2020 album Sleep Comes Then I Wake, she asked friends and family to film and edit spontaneous music videos inspired by the music. I filmed these on the shore of Nooksack River (where we were married) and Seattle’s Discovery Park (one of her favorite spots for personal time and reflection).
